第20屆 ETD 2017國際學術研討會，主辦單位為喬治‧梅森大學(George Mason University)、全球博碩士論文聯盟(Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD))、以及美國博碩士論文聯盟(United States Electronic Thesis and Dissertation Association (USETDA))；議程為8月6日至8月9日。此次研討會的研究主題為探索全球化連結(EXPLORING GLOBAL CONNECTIONS)，聚焦在全球化跨國學術研究的意義和影響，其探討的主題有資料管理實務(Data Management Practices)、資料探勘(Data mining)、整合資料庫(Integrating repositories)、以及機構典藏的未來方向(Future directions for institutional repositories)等等。
